Frequently Asked Questions?

Which version of the distribution will I get?

You will get the very latest downloadable version available on the day of mailing.

Why only offer 2 Linux distributions?

To keep things simple we offer DSL Linux as the best distribution for slower computers and Kubuntu as the best new user friendly distribution and the best distribution to try Linux out with.

How can I pay?

You can pay using either with a PayPal account or by credit card using PayPal without an account.

Where will you ship to?

We ship to the US and Canada but feel free to ask for rates to other countries. Shipping is by US Postal Service.

Are the CDs guaranteed?

Only brand name CDs are used and they are tested prior to shipping. These distributions are very good however Linux does not have 100% hardware detection. Using the other boot options on the CD does resolve most issues. (It may also be necessary occasionally to change your computers settings so that it can boot from CD - the manual that came with it should provide directions to do this.)
